“Cape Field Artillery celebrates its 153rd Birthday”

Cape Field Artillery (CFA) celebrated its 153rd Birthday in spectacular style at the world-famous and luxurious Asara Wine Estate outside Stellenbosch on Friday, 20 August 2010. Two 25-pounder G1 guns of CFA, positioned on either side of the entrance and illuminated in soft lighting, lent a fitting military atmosphere to the celebrations.
