Chrysalis Academy is a youth development organisation that is based at the Porter Estate in the Cape Town suburb of Tokai.
Targeting “youth at risk” between the ages of 17 and 25 years, its well-structured comprehensive 5-year programme offers them a life-changing opportunity to unleash their own potential. Students are empowered to steer away from crime, drugs and gangsterism, all of which are sadly prevalent in the Western Cape, and how to become socially responsible adults and strong, positive community leaders.
