“Reserves and Regular Force members shine in Cape Town’s Armed Forces Week 2019”

In February 2019, about 8,500 soldiers, sailors, aviators, medical personnel and support staff from the SANDF, as well as over 160 military vehicles, arrived in the Western Cape from all around the country to participate in annual National Armed Forces Week.

This year also marked 25 years of democracy and thus 25 years since the establishment of the SANDF.
