On Sunday, 12 December 2010, a group of 52 learners from five schools in the Cape Peninsula embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. As part of the South African Army’s Young Lions Youth Development Programme (YLYDP), they travelled to Verkeerdevlei Military Training Area north of Touwsrivier to participate in a week-long summer camp, which ended Sunday, 19 December 2010.
